• Workshop on Cyber Security & Developing Enterprise Security Frameworks

    December 9th, 2015 INFOGISTIC Pvt Limited organized a workshop on Cyber Security & Developing Enterprise Security Frameworks in Karachi, Pakistan. The workshop gathered 50 information technology professionals, a majority of which were CISOs (Chief Information Security Officer) from the renowned organizations all over Karachi in particular from the banking sector. The workshop covered a range of concepts related to cyber security, modern day challenges, cyber warfare, and role of individuals, corporates and regulators.

    The workshop had 3 sessions and was conducted by Syed Abid Ali, Chief Commercial Officer at INFOGISTIC & Co-Founder, CyberWise. The first session covered common cyber security myths, security incidents, cybercrime law in Pakistan and its comparison with Cyber Crime law with Qatar. The second session was about critical controls that an organization must have in place while the last session covered what best practices and standards are available to develop a security framework and how could “READI” INFOGISTIC’s approach could help organizations develop cyber security frameworks.

    The workshop was interactive in nature and participants from different organizations including UBL, Meezan Bank, JS Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank, Habib Bank, KESC, KSE, Dawn, NIFT, TCS, Soneri Bank etc shared their examples too on how they safeguard their information from external threats.

  • INFOGISTIC Conducts CMMI training programs for the IT Industry

    INFOGISTIC partners with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) to create awareness on Capability Maturity Model Integration to increase the quality of software products. Under a competitive bidding INFOGITIC was awarded the contract to deliver official "Introduction to CMMI" training to the selected resources from IT Industry by Pakistan Software Export Board.

  • Fatima Fertilizer awards ISO-27001 Consulting project to INFOGISTIC
